The Homey Owl Q&A
Q: Can I link to your blog and use your images?Yes! I am fine with you using an image from one of my posts as part of a roundup or to give credit for where you got the idea for your post. However, please credit the image back to me - i.e. "Image from The Homey Owl" - with a link back to the original post. I would love it if you made my day and let me know that you shared one of my images on your blog!
Q: Can I use one of your images to share one of your tutorials?
Yes, you can, but here are my stipulations:
- Copy and save my image to your image hosting group or webserver, don't steal my bandwidth.
- Give me credit for the image. (I put a lot of work and effort in to bringing you a tutorial or inspiration post.)
- Link to my post and/or blog mentioning "The Homey Owl."
- Please write your own post, don't copy mine.
Also, please remember that I reserve the right to ask you to remove my image if I am uncomfortable with the way you are using it. They are mine, after all. **I should never ask you to do this if you are crediting properly.
Q: Can I re-post your tutorial or blog post?
I really love it when people share my projects with a larger community, but please refrain from sharing the entire blog post! Even if you are linking back, I believe it is much better to send them directly to my site to read the tutorial. I always do the same for tutorials I am sharing or that inspired me.
Q: Can I make stuff using your tutorials and sell the items in my shop?
If this is something that interests you, please contact me. It will be determined on an item-by-item basis.
